Empowering Youth Through Cycling: The Fume Cupboard Company Ltd and John Robinson’s Journey

Fume Cupboard Company Ltd Cycling Sponsorship: Backing the Future of Youth Cycling

Fume Cupboard Company Ltd cycling sponsorship is shaping the future of youth cycling by supporting John Robinson’s journey. In his debut season, John has made waves in time trials and cyclocross, proving how corporate backing can drive real social value and athletic success.

Time Trial Highlights and Rising Success

John Robinson, racing with Fenland Clarion Cycling Club alongside his father Paul, quickly emerged as a standout talent. He won the Fenland Clarion Bluebell 10-mile TT League and placed second in the U18 Herewood League. His guest appearance in the Kettering TT contributed to a team victory, and his performance earned him a spot in the 2026 Northampton and District CC TT League.

Elite Equipment Provided by Directors and Setup by Peterborough Cycle Hub

A key part of The Fume Cupboard Company Ltd cycling sponsorship is the provision of elite cycling equipment. John Robinson rides an Orbea Orca, generously supplied by the company’s directors. This high-performance bike was professionally set up by Peterborough Cycle Hub, ensuring optimal fit and function for competitive racing.

This collaboration between the company and the local cycle hub not only boosts John’s confidence but also gives him a competitive edge against older, more experienced riders. The branded Kalas kit and expertly tuned bike reflect the sponsorship’s commitment to excellence and youth development.

Cycling for Charity and Community Impact

John’s commitment to cycling goes beyond competition. At age 10, he rode 50 miles to King’s Lynn, raising over £1,300 for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. More recently, he completed a 150-mile challenge, raising £520 for the same cause. His school celebrated his achievement, recognizing his resilience and generosity.

Cyclocross Challenges and Skill Building

John continues to grow as a cyclist in the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire Cyclocross Leagues, riding an upcycled Orbea Terra H40 previously used by his father. These off-road events develop his endurance and technical skills—essential for elite-level cycling.

Looking Ahead: London to Paris 2026

With continued support from the Fume Cupboard Company Ltd cycling sponsorship, John is preparing for his biggest challenge yet: a London to Paris ride in 2026 with his father, Paul Robinson. This event will celebrate their shared passion for cycling and family.
